For one day each year Maxstoke Castle opens in support of a chosen charity.
This year our charities are Countryside Learning and National Garden Scheme.
These wonderful organisations share our values at home and in our community.
The Land of Giants
18th May - 2nd June
Maxstoke Estate is delighted to be hosting The Land of Giants, Birmingham, an interactive installation of 50 life-sized animatronic beasts from the Jurassic, Triassic, Cretaceous and Ice Age periods.
Each dinosaur has robotic moving body parts and roar-some sound effects. Visitors can explore park trails and woodlands on the Maxstoke Estate uncovering dinosaurs and Ice Age creatures, lurking amongst the trees and bushes.
